Event Details

Hines, a premier developer of Class A office buildings, has incorporated the use of recycled water into their new building, La Jolla Commons. Working with the City of San Diego, Hines uses recycled water from North City Water Reclamation Facility (WRF), reducing potable water usage by 80%.

La Jolla Commons is a Gold Certified in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Core and Shell program, sponsored by the US Green Building Council.

Following a tour of the North City WRF, Hines will give a presentation on how recycled water is used at La Jolla Commons and what they did to make it happen.
